Grit to Genius™ measures a young person twice — once before the first session and once at the sixth. That produces a delta. The Genius Capacity Index™ and The Account™ make it infrastructure: a single, person-scoped, lifelong capacity record that every EQGenix instrument writes into.
A person who moves through Community at thirteen, Level Two at fourteen, and Mission-Ready Civilian™ at twenty-six holds one curve across thirteen years — possible only because every EQGenix program measures against the same construct spine: the Emotional Portfolio™.
A person-scoped identifier issued once, at first contact with any EQGenix program, and never reissued. It encodes nothing — not birth year, not program, not band.
One per program the person passes through. Carries cohort ID, band, edition, dates, facilitator, and completion status.
One per instrument administration. Carries timepoint, instrument and version, the five pillar scores, CSS, The Gap™, and the modifiers declared.
Six characters from an unambiguous alphabet — I, O, 0, and 1 excluded — with a checksum on the final character. The name-to-ID key is a separate document, stored separately, never held in the same file as any response data.
Any new EQGenix instrument must map every scored item to a named Emotional Portfolio pillar before it is built. An instrument outside the spine can be delivered — but its output is a document, not a deposit.
A longitudinal record is a materially different thing from a program record. Each consent stands alone, and each is separately revocable.
Attendance, delivery, safety, and emergency contact.
Entry and Exit administration, scored for the participant's own Genius Profile™. A participant may decline and remain fully enrolled.
De-identified aggregate use in reporting, grant, and publication contexts.
Retention of the ID and measurement events beyond this program, for use in later EQGenix programs. Separate signature.
Under-13 longitudinal consent requires verifiable parental consent under the amended COPPA Rule. Revocation is honoured within 30 days: the key is destroyed first, then the linked records — both logged.
At 18, the holder is contacted and re-consents in their own name. A record held on an adult under a consent their parent signed at twelve is not a record they consented to.
A school gives a child a transcript of what they were taught. Nobody gives a child a record of what they built.
The holder owns their record. On request, a participant or their guardian receives the full Account™ in a readable export — every measurement event, every pillar score, every Atlas shape, every deposit, with dates and instrument versions. Your child leaves owning their portfolio.
Validation Ladder position: Stage 0 → 1. Single-arm pre/post, no control condition, no norming sample, no published reliability. Every limitation is disclosed inline wherever a number appears.
Measured on the same instrument at entry and exit.
Observed change within a single group over six weeks.
An instrument built on a published construct framework.
A record the family owns and can take with them.
Proven, validated, clinically significant, or evidence-based.
The program caused the change.
A validated or normed instrument.
A predictor of future outcomes of any kind.
The Genius Capacity Index is not a clinical instrument and is not diagnostic. It is not a measure of intelligence, worth, or fitness. Grit to Genius, Genius Capacity Index, The Account™, Capacity Atlas™, The Genius Profile™, The Gap™, and Emotional Portfolio are marks of EQGenix Inc.
